Why Not Export Your Product?

If you are not interested in growing your business, then stay on shore. But if you want to expand the demand for your commodity, then exporting to the world market is essential. There are numerous organizations waiting for you to reach out to them, and the advice is free.

If you are a small to medium sized Washington State business and want to export, then you need to tap into some resources that could be a game changer for your company. The next few articles will try to uncover some of those sources by giving you web links and names of organizations that are ready to help the Washington State agriculture community export their goods.

Exporting Washington State fresh and processed produce items are a key ingredient to the future success of any company. One of the best ways to get started is to connect with the experts that Washington State and the US government has assembled.  WUSATA (Western US Agriculture Trade Association) held a one-day conference in Seattle on March 21st to introduce small to medium business people to some of these experts. An overview on what you need to know when it comes to exporting was provided, as well as being able to meet some of the experts that are counseling businesses how to begin this process. The list of items that qualify for the programs offered are vast. For example, one entrepreneur, AC Sutherland of High J Orchards who produces a “Chunky Applesauce” attended the ”Explore Exporting” conference sponsored by the WUSATA to see the exporting potential for her product.

You’ll be given the keys to unlock several doors receiving the assistance that is available.

So, if you have never considered exporting your product overseas, now is a chance tap into the resources and experts that are waiting for your call. As a small business person it is refreshing to know that there are people out there who want to help you out and advise you in ways you never imagined.
